Notify

What does it do?

Sends a message to the user without waiting for an answer.


1. Syntax

  <node_name>:
type: notify
messages:
- "<message>"
on_complete: <next_node>

required params

  • type type of the node
  • messages list of messages to send in a single message block
  • on_complete next node to do after complete

optional params

  • media a link to an image or media file (also see Send Media)
  • delay_complete_seconds time in seconds to wait before moving to the next node (integer, 160)
  • department assigns the chat to a department
  • agent assigns the chat to a specific agent (email address or CRM ID as defined in the Texter agents manager)

tip

Each item in messages is sent as a separate bubble in the same message block. Use an empty string "" to create a blank line between sections.

Max delay is 60 seconds

delay_complete_seconds accepts an integer between 1 and 60. Values above 60 will cause timeout problems and fail validation.
